Concussion Lawsuit in Illinois Is Dismissed

A circuit court judge dismissed a proposed class-action lawsuit against the Illinois High School Association that alleged its concussion policies were negligent and did not do enough to protect the state’s football players. The case was filed last year by Alex Pierscionek, a former lineman at South Elgin High School in suburban Chicago.
