Washington Commanders head coach Dan Quinn is known to get the most out of cornerbacks. Multiple cornerbacks have improved in each of Quinn's coaching stops, reaching levels they'd previously never reached.
In his first season with Washington, rookie cornerback Mike Sainristil was the breakout star. But the Commanders need another young cornerback after things didn't work out with former first-round pick Emmanuel Forbes. While Washington could select one at No. 29 overall in the 2025 NFL draft, the Commanders could look to later rounds to add more young depth to the position.
After trading for Marshon Lattimore, the Commanders re-signed Noah Igbinoghene and signed Jonathan Jones in free agency to join Sainristil.
