Commanders could use a good young cornerback in April's NFL draft

It wouldn't hurt if the Commanders found them a good cornerback in next month's 2025 NFL draft.

The Commanders were really hurting at cornerback in 2024. Benjamin St-Juste kept getting beat or holding, Michael Davis was quite ineffective, and Emmanuel Forbes was so bad that defensive coordinator Joe Whitt determined he actually didn't need him. Forbes ended up being released during the season.

The Commanders' GM, Adam Peters, did not want to wait until the offseason and aggressively traded for the Saints' cornerback Marshon Lattimore. However, Lattimore really struggled with a hamstring injury and, when returning to action, really struggled against the Eagles and Bucs.
