The Washington Commanders continue to bring back key contributors to their 2024 team that won 12 games and played in the NFC championship game. One night after re-signing defensive end Clelin Ferrell, the Commanders are bringing back defensive lineman Jalyn Homes on a one-year deal.

The Commanders initially signed the 29-year-old Holmes on October 16, and he became a part of their defensive line rotation for the remainder of the season, including in the playoffs. In 11 games for Washington, Holmes recorded 14 tackles, including five for loss, and two sacks.
