Colts linebacker Jonathan Newsome was arrested early Wednesday and charged with marijuana possession.
Marijuana was discovered in Newsome's apartment, leading to his arrest on two counts of drug possession. He was booked into Boone County Jail at 3:37 a.m. and released less than 15 minutes later on $555 bond, according to online records.

A 2014 fifth-round pick from Ball State, Newsome led the Colts with 6.5 sacks in his rookie season.
Ball State suspended Newsome for two games in 2012 after he was charged with marijuana possession that summer.
