Colts' Anthony Richardson Saluted by NFL Fans for GW Drive vs. Aaron Rodgers, Jets

Making his first start since Week 8, quarterback Anthony Richardson led the Indianapolis Colts to a 28-27, come-from-behind win over the New York Jets at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, on Sunday.

Richardson was benched after a 10-of-32 passing performance in a Week 8 loss to the Houston Texans, but after the Colts went 0-2 with Joe Flacco as the starter, head coach Shane Steichen turned back to the No. 4 overall pick in the 2023 NFL draft, and it paid dividends.

The second-year signal-caller finished Sunday's game with 272 yards, one touchdown and no interceptions on 20-for-30 passing, plus 32 yards and two scores on the ground, including the game-winning, four-yard touchdown run with 46 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter:

Given how Richardson responded to the benching, he was showered with praise by fans, analysts and reporters on social media:
