By the time he retires, Adam Vinatieri is probably going to hold almost every kicking record that the NFL's ever had.
The Colts kicker is on track to do that after breaking an NFL record on Sunday that had stood for over 10 years. Vinatieri hit his first two field goals against the Titans, meaning he has now made 43 straight field goals, which is a new NFL record.
The previous record had belonged to hit former Colts kicker Mike Vanderjagt, who hit 42 straight field goals over three seasons (2002-2004), although you might know him best as the liquored up kicker who was hated by Peyton Manning.
