College Football Playoff rankings: Washington replaces Michigan in top 4; Wolverines fall to 5

The Wolverines are out and the Huskies are in.

The penultimate College Football Playoff rankings were released Tuesday and Washington is the new No. 4. Michigan slipped from No. 3 to No. 5 following its 30-27 overtime loss to Ohio State, which remained at No. 2. Alabama (12-0) is still the No. 1 team while Clemson (11-1) moved up from No. 4 to No. 3.

While Michigan may be out right now, there is still a slim chance the Wolverines could move back into the playoff.
