College football crazies descend on Bristol for epic game

BRISTOL, Tenn. — Tennessee fan Nathan Miles is a graduate of the university, lives close to Neyland Stadium in Knoxville and gets to every Volunteer game he can.

But he had never been to ESPN’s "College GameDay."

“Me and my buddies usually get too drunk the night before to make it,” he said. “So I told them, we’re going to bed and we’re getting here in the morning.”

And there he was, at 5:30 Saturday morning, wearing his bright orange Tennessee jersey, his cutoff overalls and his coonskin cap.
