Xfinity Series Rookie of the Year and Championship 4 contender Erik Jones was not happy with the final restart in Saturday's Xfinity Series championship race at Homestead-Miami Speedway.
Cole Whitt, driving on old tires, could not get up to speed with three laps to go, causing the outside lane, including Jones and fellow contender Justin Allgaier, to fall off the pace as Daniel Suarez drove away for the win and the series championship.

“We didn’t have any sticker tires there at the end and (Whitt) didn’t even attempt to go (on the restart) and stacked up the whole top line.
