Cloud Computing pulled off an upset in the 142nd Preakness on Saturday at Pimlico Race Course.
Javier Castellano left Cloud Computing sit off the dueling leaders, Kentucky Derby winner Always Dreaming and Classic Empire.
Trainer Chad Brown had passed on the Derby to get Cloud Computing ready for the Preakness, and it has paid off.
“I’m very excited,” Castellano said.
Always Dreaming and Classic Empire were side-by-side in the starting gate and they both went right to the front, with the Kentucky Derby winner leading through a half of 46.81.
They remained in step from the gate opening through three quarters in 1:11.
