Clemson handles Sooners to reach title game

Clemson has put an end to the reign of the No. 4 seeds in the College Football Playoff.

With a 37-17 victory against Oklahoma in the Orange Bowl on Thursday night, not only did Clemson become the first No. 1 seed to win a game in the College Football Playoff, but more important -- it earned itself a spot in the title game a little over a week from now.

And this win was no fluke, as Clemson outplayed the Sooners for just about the entire 60- minute contest. Oklahoma got the ball to open the game, and marched down field to score a touchdown and take a quick 7-0 lead, but after that, it was Clemson in control.
