C.J. Spiller has failed to make a major impact with the New Orleans Saints this season, leading to speculation that the running back may not have a future with the team beyond the 2015 season.
Ian Rapoport of NFL.com (via NFL Media) reported that he has "struggled to grasp this offense," that the team doubts his explosiveness and that "at this point it seems to be a long shot Spiller is actually on the Saints in 2016."
As Katherine Terrell noted, Spiller "has never taken more than 21 snaps on offense and three times has had less than 10 snaps.
