Cincinnati's Mick Cronin reportedly in mix for UNLV job

Are bright lights and Sin City in Mick Cronin's future? Could be.

The Cincinnati head coach is among candidates being considered to take over the UNLV head coaching job, according to a report from the Las Vegas Review-Journal.

Cronin, 44, has spent the last 10 seasons at the helm for the Bearcats, leading them to six consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances. He signed a seven-year extension in June 2014 that would pay him a base salary of $2.2 million annually.
