Chris Heisey's walk-off home run in 16th seals Nationals' comeback

Bryce Harper is so good that even his replacements hit big-time home runs.

Harper, who didn't start Sunday's game against the Twins, hit a game-tying, solo home run in the ninth inning off Kevin Jepsen to force extra innings. Harper was then replaced in the lineup after the at-bat by Chris Heisey, who ended the 5 hour, 56-minute, 16-inning game with a homer of his own to seal a 6-5 victory over the Twins (5-14).

The Nationals' comeback was unconventional. After losing the lead in the 15th, Nats' pitcher Oliver Perez laid down a perfect, two-out bunt that scored Danny Espinosa from second after a throwing error by Twins catcher John Ryan Murphy.
