After a two-year stint in Jacksonville, veteran defensive end Chris Clemons is headed back to the Seattle Seahawks.
Clemons and the Seahawks agreed to terms Friday, according to the team's official website. A fixture on NFL defensive lines for more than a decade, Clemons should step in right away for Seattle as a solid stopgap solution after Bruce Irvin bolted for the Oakland Raiders.
Clemons, 34, made just 14 tackles and three sacks last season with the Jaguars. He started just seven games after being a regular starter each of the last five seasons, and this came despite the Jags not boasting an elite pass rush.
