The previously undefeated Kansas City Chiefs suffered their first loss of the season on Sunday, falling 30-21 to the Buffalo Bills.
While starting the season 9-0 was a notable accomplishment, Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes admitted it wasn't the team's primary focus.
"The undefeated thing was cool, but that's not our ultimate goal," Mahomes said, according to KSHB 41 News' Matt Foster.
Mahomes completed 23-of-33 passes for 196 yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions in the Chiefs first loss of the season.
The Bills controlled most of the game, taking a 16-14 lead into halftime before outscoring the Chiefs 14-7 in the second half.
