Kansas City Chiefs defensive lineman Isaiah Buggs is reportedly facing two misdemeanor warrants for second-degree cruelty to dogs or cats.
Mike Rodak of 247Sports reported that a civil court filing Wednesday in Tuscaloosa County in Alabama revealed Tuscaloosa police obtained the warrants against him following a March incident.
On March 28, Tuscaloosa animal control found a pitbull and a rottweiler mix locked on a property that Buggs had rented. The dogs were discovered to be "severely malnourished, emaciated, neglected and the residence appearing to be abandoned."
They were also found with "no access to food or water.
