The Chicago Police Department is investigating an allegation of sexual assault made against Pirates infielder Jung Ho Kang, report Stacy St. Clair and David Heinzmann of the Chicago Tribune.
The incident is alleged to have taken place while the Pirates were in Chicago for a series against the Cubs from June 17-19. Kang has not yet been charged with a crime. Via St. Clair and Heinzmann, the details of the allegations:
The woman told investigators she arrived at Kang's room at the Westin Hotel around 10 p.m. and he served her an alcoholic drink, police spokesman Anthony Guglielmi said.
