The Texas Longhorns will have another veteran piece to rely on during the 2025-2026 campaign. On Saturday, the team announced that guard Chendall Weaver will return next season. That made him the fourth player from last year's roster to announce his intentions to stay in Austin in the last two weeks.
In 20 games last year, the talented senior averaged 6.4 points, 4.9 rebounds, 0.8 steals and 1.4 assists. He also shot 50 percent from the field and 40 percent from three-point range. While he spent most of the season battling injuries, the Austin native gave the Longhorns a needed spark at the end of the season.
