Nathan Ake admits it is “still too early to say” what the future holds for him at Chelsea.
The Netherlands U21 international has impressed away from Stamford Bridge of late, taking in loan spells at Watford and Bournemouth.
His efforts with the Cherries this season have drawn plenty of praise, with the versatile 21-year-old showing himself to be a capable Premier League performer.
It has been suggested that a more prominent role awaits him once he returns to his parent club, with Chelsea currently working with an ageing backline.
Ake, though, is refusing to get ahead of himself, with his focus locked on events at the Vitality Stadium for now.
