The Royals raised their 2015 World Series championship banner on opening night but on Tuesday the team received the hardware.
Before the second of a two-game series with the Mets, the team Kansas City beat in last season's Fall Classic, players and executives were given their championship rings.

According to the team's website, the World Series ring features the KC logo created from custom-cut blue sapphires surrounded by a yellow gold outline placed atop a field of 14-karat white gold and round diamonds.
