Charlotte quarterback Kevin Olsen was indicted on three counts of rape, and other charges, by a grand jury in Mecklenburg County on Monday.
The charges come from a February incident and arrest involving a woman he was dating, and the indictments include three counts of second-degree rape, one count of second-degree sexual offense and two counts of assault on a female.
According to the Charlotte Observer, each of Olsen's rape charges carries a possible 10-year sentence, though he remains free on bond, enrolled at Charlotte and suspended indefinitely from all football-related activities.
Olsen is the younger brother of Carolina Panthers' tight end Greg Olsen.
