The Chargers announced Wednesday that representatives for Joey Bosa rejected the team's "best offer" to him on Tuesday night.
Bosa's camp responded later on Wednesday by picking apart the Chargers' original statement, according to Pro Football Talk, which cited a source "with knowledge of both sides’ bargaining positions."

What Bosa — selected third overall by the Chargers in the 2016 NFL Draft — has taken issue with is the offset language and the team's insistence to defer half of Bosa's signing bonus to 2017.
