Chargers Wire
The Chargers signed tight end Tyler Conklin, the team announced on Friday.
It is a 1-year deal for $3 million with upsides to $4.5 million for Conklin.
The signing came a day after the team hosted him for a visit.
Conklin joins a position room that consists of Will Dissly, Tucker Fisk and McCallan Castle. He gives the Chargers the pass-catching tight end they've needed.
Conklin spent the past three seasons with the Jets. In 2024, he played 16 games with 15 starts, finishing with 51 catches for 449 yards and four touchdowns.
