NASCAR is going to the movies. Again.
This time, though, Magic Mike and James Bond are along for the ride.
NASCAR will collaborate with Academy Award-winning director Steven Soderbergh on a feature film to be entitled "Logan Lucky." The film will star Channing Tatum, Daniel Craig, Riley Keough, Adam Driver and Seth MacFarlane.
According to a NASCAR news release, the film will depict a theoretical heist at Charlotte Motor Speedway. It marks Soderbergh's first feature film since he announced his retirement in 2013 after directing films including "Ocean's Eleven," "Traffic" and "Erin Brockovich."
Tatum, who worked with Soderbergh for the "Magic Mike" films, "Haywire" and "Side Effects," was grand marshal for the Sprint Cup race at Pocono 400 in 2014 (with fellow "22 Jump Street" star Jonah Hill).
