With the 10 qualifying round playoffs complete, the field for the 2016-17 Champions League is set. A cast of 32 teams will vie for Europe's biggest club prize, ranging from the regulars–Barcelona, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Juventus–to the newcomers–Leicester City, FC Rostov. They'll learn their group fate in Thursday's draw in Monaco (12 p.m. ET, FS1).
Real Madrid, by virtue of being the defending champion, will be placed in the seeded pot along with the seven champions of the leagues with the strongest UEFA coefficients (as of the end of 2014-15, per UEFA competition rules). The remaining three pots are determined by UEFA's club coefficient rankings.
