The regular season is over. Well, except for Army-Navy. The conference champions have been decided, and now the College Football Playoff Selection Committee goes to work for the final time this year.
Alabama, Clemson, Michigan State and Stanford won the championship games in the major conferences. The Spartans used a 22-play drive, consuming almost all of the final 9:30 of the game, to hand Iowa its first defeat.
