The Boston Globe captured the heartwarming story of McNulty, and the special day he unexpectedly met Thomas. Shooting the ball in a playground by himself, he couldn't believe his eyes when walking towards him was Isaiah Thomas.
Being a diehard Celtics fan, McNulty knew exactly who it was. The two of them ended up playing for a few minutes, and the teenager had a special story to tell his family and friends the next day.
