The National Player of the Year debate between Auburn's Johni Broome and Duke's Cooper Flagg is almost over. However, many experts are still sharing their opinions on the matter as March Madness is in its final weekend.
Former Villanova head coach and now CBS analyst Jay Wright was the latest to give his take on the debate during a recent Q&A session with CBS Sports writer David Cobb. When asked about his preference, Wright went with the "value" aspect before giving the edge to Broome.
"I could go either way. But if I had to pick, I'd probably pick Johni Broome, because I feel like he's been slightly more valuable to his team's success than Cooper Flagg.
