When you first glance at Barri Griffiths, you can’t help but think that the powerhouse looks the part of a professional wrestler. So it wasn’t a surprise when WWE signed him just three years after he began training with big plans in mind under the persona of Mason Ryan. After a short run mixing it up against the likes of Kane and John Cena, he was downsized to a smaller role. Griffiths eventually joined the rebranded developmental system NXT where he spent the remainder of his WWE tenure before being released in 2014.
