Carson Beck named as transfer with 'most to prove'

Former Georgia Bulldogs quarterback Carson Beck has been named as a transfer with the "most to prove" according to Brad Crawford of 247Sports. Beck transferred to Miami this offseason after initially declaring for the NFL draft. He's drawn a lot of media attention for his decision to go to Miami and for the name, image and likeness deal he received.

"Carson Beck made a calculated decision when he removed himself from the 2025 NFL draft and decided another year in college was best for him," said Crawford. Beck was Georgia's starting quarterback in 2023 and 2024 before he suffered an elbow injury in the 2024 SEC championship game that required surgery and forced him to miss Georgia's bowl game.
