Carl Edwards hasn't won at Texas since sweeping the 2008 races. But Saturday night, Edwards will go off as leader of the pack in the Duck Commander 500.
Edwards turned a best lap of 194.609 mph on Friday to settle in as fastest qualifier. Behind him are Joey Logano, Martin Truex Jr., Chase Elliott and Ricky Stenhouse Jr. Saturday's race, the first of the season for both Saturday and night racing, begins about 7:30 ET.
