After all, they can look no further than fellow Toyota driver Martin Truex Jr. to see the possibilities.
Truex, whose Furniture Row Racing has an alliance with the Joe Gibbs Racing contingent, has won four races this season — including two in the opening three-race round of the Chase. All five Toyota drivers are among the 12 still in contention for the title.
