So questions about his organization's impending switch to Ford invariably mentioned whether Harvick might leave Stewart-Haas Racing before it makes the brand change in 2017.

Harvick handled the matter during Friday's media sessions at Phoenix. His answer made it clear that he will stay with SHR. Goodbye, Chevy; hello, Ford.
“I don’t see any reason why that wouldn’t happen,” Harvick said of a possible SHR departure.
