Tragedy struck during Oklahoma State's homecoming parade on Saturday morning.
Police and multiple life flight helicopters responded to a "fatality crash" along the parade route after a vehicle crashed into parade attendees near an intersection. One witness, Geoff Haxton, told the Tulsa World that a vehicle not included in the parade crashed into the crowd. Other witnesses told the paper that the vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed.
"This is the worst thing I've ever seen in my life, outside of the Oklahoma City bombing and 9/11," Haxton told the paper.
