Braden Holtby will be taking to Washington D.C.'s streets in support of the LGBT community.
The Capitals goaltender and Vezina Trophy finalist is walking in D.C.'s Pride Parade on June 11 as part of the NHL's You Can Play initiative, the team announced on Tuesday.

“I am honored to represent the Capitals and participate in this important event that shines light on the contributions the LGBT community makes every day,” said Holtby in a release. “I believe in equality for all people and I look forward to showing my support along with our organization and fans.
