Redshirt junior James Conner took the field for the first time since beating Hodgkin's Lymphoma on Saturday, and scored a pair of touchdowns in Pitt's 28-7 victory over FCS Villanova.

Not only is it a miracle for Conner to be playing football again, but he also exceeded everyone's expectations with his on-field performance: Aside from both a rushing and receiving touchdown, he finished the game with 53 rushing yards and 16 receiving yards.

The game was momentous from the beginning, with Conner leading Pitt out of the tunnel to cheering fans.

Conner's biggest fans were his medical staff, who all fittingly wore surgical masks in the stands.
