Campers arrive for NASCAR Talladega weekend to bone-dry weather

Good morning, campers: There's good news for everyone planning to spend the weekend at Talladega.

The chance of rain ahead of and during Sunday's Sprint Cup race is thinner than Martin Truex Jr.'s margin of victory in the Daytona 500. But as with everything in life, a touch of the bad accompanies the good.

Talladega is under a burn ban, so forget about those popular campfires. Find another way to keep warm on the chilly nights ahead. Wunderground.com pegs overnight lows in the low 40s through Sunday.

Birmingham TV station WIAT went to the track campgrounds and found its inhabitants amenable to the ban on open fires.
