The New Orleans Saints reportedly signed Chicago Bears' restricted free agent Cameron Meredith to an offer sheet Friday.
Adam Schefter of ESPN reported the news, pointing out there is a familiarity in place between the team and pass-catcher considering Saints wide receivers coach Curtis Johnson was Meredith's former wide receivers coach in the Windy City.
Schefter noted the offer sheet was for two years and about $10 million, although the Bears have the opportunity to match if they want to keep Meredith aboard.
