When Cam Newton scores—which is quite often—he gives the ball to a kid in the stands. It’s become his thing.

After throwing a touchdown against the New Orleans Saints on Sunday, Newton went over to the referee and seemed to ask for the ball. The ref instead flung it over to a sideline attendant, whom the MVP candidate went over to visit.

The guy looked like he was holding it away from Newton, but the quarterback just snatched it and ran to the sideline.
