As if the off-court drama wasn't enough, the embattled California basketball team apparently has an on-court challenge, too: Starting point guard and leading scorer Tyrone Wallace suffered a broken right (non-shooting) hand in Wednesday's practice, Yahoo Sports reported, citing multiple unidentified sources.
The fourth-seeded Golden Bears (23-10), wracked this week by the firing of an assistant coach after a sexual-harassment investigation, faces Hawaii on Friday in the first round of the NCAA Tournament's South Region.
