Turns out that not only are the rich getting richer in college athletics, but the poor are getting poorer, too.
In fact, Conference USA's revenue from TV contracts has eroded even more than earlier reports indicated, according to The Virginian-Pilot in Norfolk, which cited documents obtained under the Freedom of Information Act.

The ugly numbers: C-USA will receive about $2.8 million in TV revenue in 2016-17 from four broadcast networks, or about $200,000 per school.
