The Tennessee Titans confirmed on Tuesday that tackle Byron Bell will likely miss the 2016 season with a left ankle injury.
Head coach Mike Mularkey said that Bell dislocated the ankle, per John Glennon of the Tennessean.
"He's a good football player," Mularkey said, per the team. "We're going to miss him."
Indeed, Bell's loss will cost the team a potential starter, per Jim Wyatt of the team's website:
Mularkey said Byron Bell was in the running for a starting spot. Said other players will have to step up @Titans
