Butch Jones and three of his Tennessee players paid it forward before Thanksgiving, visiting children hospitalized after a deadly bus accident in Chattanooga.

Jones, team captains Jalen Reeves-Maybin and Alvin Kamara, and defensive end Derek Barnett went Wednesday morning to T.C. Thompson Children’s Hospital, where more than a dozen children were hospitalized after their bus crashed on Monday.

“It was the least we could do,” Jones said on the SEC teleconference (via SECCountry.com). “I tell you what, it was monumental. For all the individuals at Woodmore Elementary and Erlanger children’s hospital. You sit there, and we’re talking about it as a team and you’re hearing about it and your heart goes out to all the victims and all the families.
