Jim Boeheim just landed his most coveted walk-on ever.
On Friday, Buddy Boeheim announced what many long presumed inevitable: he will play for his father at Syracuse come 2018. The younger Boeheim's a three-star player in the class of 2018, but his stock also has been rising the past 18 months. He's one of the better shooters in the class, too, and certainly will be a factor for Syracuse. This is no legacy choice or nepotistic lean. Buddy Boeheim has the skills to earn significant playing time for his career at Syracuse.
