Buccaneers WR Chris Godwin enters concussion protocol

Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Chris Godwin is in the league’s concussion protocol.

Coach Bruce Arians told reporters on Wednesday that Godwin hadn’t developed any symptoms until mid-week. He did not attend Wednesday’s practice.

“He did not show any symptoms on Monday or Tuesday but he is now so we are being really careful with him,” Arians told reporters, via Gabrielle Shirley of WFLA in Tampa.

Godwin was Tom Brady’s main target on Sunday in a 34-23 loss to the New Orleans Saints. He had six catches on seven targets for 79 yards.
