The Tampa Bay Buccaneers and offensive tackle Joe Haeg reportedly agreed to a contract in free agency Friday, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Haeg, 27, was a fifth-round pick of the Indianapolis Colts in the 2016 NFL draft after a standout collegiate career at North Dakota State. Haeg spent his first four NFL seasons with Indy, appearing in 55 games and making 35 starts.

Haeg will have an opportunity to compete for the Bucs' starting job at right tackle and protect legendary quarterback Tom Brady, who officially announced Friday that he signed with Tampa Bay.
