Bryce Harper reached base seven times Sunday without recording an official at-bat, becoming the first player in MLB history to do so.
The Nationals outfielder walked six times, three of them intentional, and was hit by a pitch in Washington's 4-3 13-inning loss to the Cubs at Wrigley Field.

Harper hasn't had an official at-bat in his past 12 plate appearances. Included in the glut of walks is a sacrifice fly in Saturday's 8-5 loss to the Cubs.
Harper walked 13 times in the four-game series at Wrigley, becoming the first person since Barry Bonds in 2004 to draw at least 10 walks in a single series.
