CHICAGO -- Kris Bryant already cried the night before, listened to his parents weep on the phone, with even his aunt going to a Massachusetts cemetery, delivering the news to his grandparents.
Now, after getting just three hours of sleep, boarding a plane from New Orleans, getting caught up in the morning rush hour from Chicago's O'Hare Airport, Bryant finally arrived Friday morning at Wrigley Field.
"I can't really put into words how good of a feeling this is,'' Bryant said. "You work for this your whole life, and finally get that chance, but I think the journey is just starting.
